Independence
SentinelForge has no shared failure mode with the AI system it certifies. The hardware tap runs entirely outside the AI stack — meaning a compromised, drifted, or adversarially manipulated AI system cannot affect the integrity of the certification record.

Behavioral Baseline
During initial deployment, SentinelForge establishes a certified behavioral baseline for the AI system under evaluation. Every subsequent behavioral event is measured against that baseline at 1Hz — continuously, automatically, and without human intervention.

Cryptographic Integrity
The audit trail is secured with CRYSTALS-Kyber (key encapsulation) and CRYSTALS-Dilithium (digital signatures) — NIST-selected post-quantum cryptographic algorithms — ensuring the certification record remains valid and tamper-evident at and after Q-Day.

Zero Modification
No changes are required to the AI system under certification. No agents. No integrations. No shared API keys. SentinelForge observes and certifies from the outside, which means it can be deployed against any AI system — including systems where source access is unavailable or contractually restricted.
